& just a regular guy!


My journey with meditation started when at 17, I jumped in at the deep end with a book about body scanning and astral projection! After months of counting backwards from 100 to 1 and many hours of floor time trying to fly my body to Barbados, I slowly got a taste for how to relax the mind and body. 

Over the years I have broadened this into prayer, meditation and what is more commonly known now as mindfulness, from using basic 5min breathing sessions to full 5 days fasts.

I have also bolstered this by reading books on topics covering psychology, psychotherapy, the vagus nerve, neuroplasticity, CBT, (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Buddhism, childhood trauma, self-esteem, PTSD, (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and CPTSD, (C is for Complex), Reiki, EFT, (Emotional Freedom Technique),  cellular level healing, sleep science and nutrition. 

Altogether, it has helped me use different techniques to achieve different goals.


However, the foundation and cornerstone to successfully calm my mind, I discovered, is the simple key of breathing. Breathing consciously, correctly and in a controlled environment. (See the Blog Keys) 

My life is one long journey of discovery, of the world and of the self. And in the words of Oprah Winfrey, "One thing I know for sure", is I don't know very much. It is this little amount of knowledge, wisdom and experience I am sharing with you here.
